The brass chess pieces are plated with 24 kt gold, while the steel chess pieces are plated in silvery chrome. The two armies together are designed to contrast beautifully and make an elegant statement in your home, lodge, or executive suite. They also make an excellent chess gift for the chess enthusiast in your life. These chess pieces are quite durable and have protective felt bottoms. The Luxury Staunton chess men may be purchased alone, with a mirrored board or walnut veneer board. The boards are all about 15 inches on a side, with 1.5 inch squares, and look very nice with the Luxury Staunton pieces.
